I was reading Zaobao in the morning and saw this:

I'm just so saddened by this... The world has so many people who are so broken and desperate for help... This is a reminder to remember the poor and the needy, and not be consumed by other pursuits in life.
"There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your brothers and toward the poor and needy in your land." - Deuteronomy 15:11

serious monday blues...
woke up this morning and simply do not feel like working... it's like u just want to let out a loud "urgh!" and hope that it's still Sat...
well... i did actually... (the sighing)
with much effort, i dragged myself out of bed and began my morning routine...
since i missed my bus, and i really don't want to spent on cab... i walked to my shuttle bus stop under the hot sun.
no point sulking the whole day... i need to fight against that... i need to give thanks! for all the minor things such as the clothes/ shoes/ bags... to my job (it was hard), my office, my bosses (this was harder), to the people in my life... and God himself. I know even if there's nothing in me to give thanks for, His love for me is worth giving thanks for...
on a side note, i only ran for 15-20mins today... i really don't like to run after the sun sets... it's like even the trees are planning to rest after a long day (of providing good shade for man) but i'm still trying to work hard on running. no motivation le!
tomorrow, the workday battle is still on. i know i just have to hang in there. uu, jiayou, fight the right battle.

I spent the last 2 weeks of December 2005 doing housework - washing laundry, changing bed linen and tidying up my little cozy corner... sometimes, it's therapeutic to do some housework... like cleaning up and compartmentalize things you have... since it is easier to do that for tangible stuff rather than intangible stuff - for instance, life.
I had been feeling moody for almost the whole of December and wasn't really sure where I want to go and what I want to do in 2006... Perhaps, I just got myself into the spiral of nua-ness and sian-ness where I just don't want to think about it...
Anyway, the good news is, I have decided that I need to climb out of that hole where nua-ness and sian-ness dwell harmoniously... I need to build up my momentum for the race which I want to finish strong (not rat race of course)...
Difficult it may be, but I will try...
